Everything! Lovely helpful staff, amazing rooms, beds and bed linen which were so comfortable. The breakfast was simply amazing with such attentive staff. We used the Spa which was delightful. We will effeminately make this hotel our destination of choice, rather than the Farol or the Albatross - we enjoyed this hotel so much!

Surroundings v nice , bedroom ( sea view room) v good size and lovely bathroom. Staff v helpful and pleasant especially Chris. Breakfast very good, nice selection. Near enough to centre of Cascais. Lovely terrace and comfortable lounge areas.

Superb breakfast choices. Room was large and well equipped with a huge bed, plenty of clothes storage space. Location was great with a pleasant 10/12 minute walk into the centre of Cascais or 10 minutes in the other direction to Boca do Inferno. Outside pool was well maintained and serviced throughout the day by attentive pool staff.

Breakfast had a tasty variety of food! It was buffet and it was organized well, and clean and plenty! The room with the balcony and beach view was aaaaaa-maaa-zing!! The room itself was beautiful and the bathroom....was gorgeous! Literally at the time we went, before high season in March, this 5-Star, King's palace is an affordable luxury! I HIGHLY recommend the stay! You can walk along the beach and walk into town. I'd return immediately if time permitted!

can’t say anything bad about this stay .The hotel was spacious and elegant - our ‘deluxe’ room over looking the sea was amazingly huge with the biggest bed ever. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and at home. The spa was excellent - an added bonus. Too cold for outdoor pools so can’t say how that was. breakfast was a fantastic buffet and we ate dinner a couple of times during our stay. The food was very good. Sea view was absolutely a winner - so worth the bit extra.

The room and pool are both exceptional. The building is stunning, and the overall decor is very well done. The view over the sea is stunning, and it's just a short walk down to the town/marina for restaurants and shops. The only gripe would be the attitude of the bar staff, it did not match up with the 5-star status of the rest of the hotel.

We had an amazing time!! We booked the hotel for one night and we wish we had stayed at least another one. I surprised my boyfriend with the Valentine offer at the spa and it was an excellent experience which made our trip incredible. We also got an upgrade to a Suite room which made us even happier about our first stay at Grande Real Villa Italia. We will for sure come back!! Thank you to all the staff for your amazing service (reception, housekeeping, spa, bar, breakfast…)

Everything is in accordance with 5 star hotel starting from the staff to required facilities. Nice SPA with salted water pool and underwater massage, sauna and turkish sauna. Convenient parking. Nice welcome pack - sweets, Porto wine.

The hotel is wonderful. Central location, beautiful and the staff are fantastic. We attended the Ironman event, so we had extra luggage, bikes and none of this was an issue. The reception staff and concierge went out of their way to make things as easy as possible. The hotel breakfast started early on race day and again, nothing was too much trouble. Room was just as described and the welcome treats really were a gorgeous touch. Check out was a little later (midday) which made the stay even better.
